I do have excuses, the school term is so so busy I never have time. I can't write short blog posts, they're always long!
So school is now out as of yesterday! Phew!
This is possibly the first time I've been happy about it being the school holidays!
As the kids grow up a bit more each time, they do get easier. They are DEFINITELY easier now than they were a year ago.
They make up their own games, dangerous or not, and play together. I only have to intervene for the fights or injuries, so every 2 or 3 minutes. Other than that it's OK!
A general update here, and then I will aim to write a blog post about each topic I have in my head...Laila's school year and her new language skills, Max's development, the new house update, my work maybe...watch this space.
Our summer plans for the next 8 weeks before the new school year starts are:
- Collect the keys for our new house - End July
- Pack up our current house - err need to start that soon
- Paint and decorate new house - End July and early August
- Move into new house - mid August
- Prepare some lessons for September - .............?
- Teach Laila to read in English - I really want to do this, so must make an effort everyday.
- Get Max potty trained - hahahaha!
- Take the kids to the beach - as soon as that sun makes an appearance!
- Let the kids spend time with their Grandparents - as much as they can all take so we can do all of the above!

I don't mean to pressure you honest :) I link up to memes to keep me posting these days and you have better excuses than me!!! I am looking forward though to hearing all about your adventures!!!
