New House update - the final stretch

In less than a month we will have the keys to our new house!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my last update:
the plasterboard has been finished
the electrician has installed all the lightswitches, sockets, outside lights, inside light fittings, fuse box etc.
The plumber has installed all the radiators, the bath, the shower, the sinks and a toilet as well as the heat pump outside.
The doors and skirting boards have been put in and all the floor tiles and bathroom tiles laid.
My wonderful Dad and favourite gardener has helped us tremendously with the garden. After an unfortunate incident the day after sewing the grass seeds, and a little repair job, we are all so relieved to see the green stuff growing! One reason to be thankful for all the rain we've had!

Still left to do before key handover:

Staircase - delivery and fitting next week
Upstairs flooring - lino delivered, can only be laid once staircase is in
Toilet downstairs - to go under the staircase, so will be done after the staircase is delivered.
Final checks

Once keys are handed over:
paint and decorate
install kitchen
install built in cupboards
Move in!
