More snow and some refugees in Lannion!

We had more snow in the early hours of Wednesday morning, woke up to 4-6 inches of the stuff, it carried on snowing heavily all day long,

more on Thursday, schools were closed and Francois' work gave them the day off

and finally stopped today and we had bright blue skies and sunshine which looked beautiful.

This is me, before you say it yes I do look like my mum here!

We also had some refugees in the name of Grandma and Grandad who came up on Tuesday to help me out and got stuck here all week as the roads home were too dangerous or closed!

Dad bought the last pair of snow chains in the hope of getting home!

We had one scary incident when we did try to go somewhere in the car, changed our minds when we saw all the abandoned cars down the hill but got stuck trying to get back up the hill to our house! Luckily a lovely tractor came along to pull us back up the hill and we were rescued! We scurried back indoors to hibernate instead.

Mum and Dad finally got home on Friday once the snow had stopped falling and the roads had been cleared. This weekend it's all gone brown and is disappearing with the persistent and heavy rain we're having :-(

 We enjoyed it while it lasted and made us feel all Christmassy!!
