Week 1 DONE!

Phew, the first week back of "La rentree" is done! It went really fast but that's not surprising it was very hectic!

I swear this is what I looked like on Friday!

Here's a quick report:

Monday: Laila's first day at Ecole Diwan = no problems, she loved it! She even knows a few words in Breton already!
Tuesday: Max's first day back at the childminders, my first day to relax on my own in over 9 weeks! However, I cooked and cleaned ready for my parents visit instead!
Wednesday: I worked to cover someones holiday, Mum and Dad looked after the little ones.
Thursday: First real test of the school run timing: got to school for 8.50am, childminder took Max at the gate at 9.02am, I got to work for 9.15am (would have got there a couple mins earlier if I hadn't stupidly missed the turn!), my first student was waiting in the classroom for me!
9.30pm First Zumba class, high energy, very sweaty but GREAT!
Friday: same school run and rush to work. Welcome party for new parents at Laila's school at 4.30pm.
Saturday morning: LIE IN!!

This week will be much the same, except I won't work Wednesday. In addition I have Max's first music class tomorrow morning and Laila's gym class starts back on Wednesday! Plus I am giving my English friend French lessons starting Tuesday.
Oh and I can forget going to work for a rest, it's bloomin hard work having 7 forty minute conversations a day, in English with non-native speakers. They are all at different levels, so I have to readjust my vocab each time and concentrate hard to keep the conversation flowing. I just about have time for a loo trip or a swig of a drink between each one!
