...but my English is poor.
This is the phrase most French people associate with learning English!
Not many of you will know this yet, but I've started doing a TEFL course online, that is Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I want to use my English skills as I obviously have a big advantage here in France! Max is now at the childminders 2 days a week and Laila is at school so that's when I do my studying. It should only take a couple months to complete and I already have a few ideas of where I might be able to find some work teaching English. The hardest bit will be updating my CV and translating it into French! I hate doing CV's!
The first couple of modules were about different learning and teaching styles, and classroom management. I passed with 85% and 90% on the first 2 tests so very pleased with that! Now I've started the hard stuff, English Grammar! I am a bit of a nerd for grammar and do like it, but its still hard going after nearly 10 years of no studying, it's challenging.
I've already gone back over this post to check my grammar, as I can't be seen making any mistakes!
So wish me luck and I'll keep you updated with my progress!
